Hou is a cosy harbour town. Hou was from 1884 to 1977 the terminus for the Odder Railway. This developed stronger connections to the surrounding areas on land as well as on sea.
Today Hou is a charming harbour town with a nice yacht harbour, good shops, an inn and restaurants.
The Hou Cafe offers live music on the pier in the high season.
The ferry harbour offers daily connections to Tunø and Samsø.
There is lovely wide beaches, kitchen-, bathing- and washing facilities, and of course any help or assistance you might need repairing and maintaining your boat.
