The Tunø Ferry - Hou-Tunø
Tunø is one of Denmark’s most charming islands. You can visit the car-free island in the Kattegat by the Tunø ferry. The crossing from Hou only takes an hour and there are two daily departures in each direction.
Odder is located at the centre of Denmark - close to airports, major cities and the motorway - and therefore it is easy to reach, whether you arrive by car, by plane or public transport.
Odder is located close to the E45 Eastern Jutland Motorway. Via the exits at Horsens, Aarhus and Skanderborg you can quickly reach Odder by country roads.

Odder is connected to the major city of Aarhus via Letbanen. On weekdays, there is a departure to Aarhus every half hour from Odder Banegård. Find timetables for Letbanen here.
From Odder, several regional buses go through the smaller, local towns. There is public transport connecting Odder and the nearby towns of Hou, Saksild and Norsminde. There is also a regional bus that goes to Horsens. You can see specific bus departures and stops at Rejseplanen.dk.
From Hou, there are several daily ferry departures to beautiful Tunø and Samsø. In addition, you can take the small bicycle ferry between Alrø and Hjarnø and cycle all the way around Horsens Fjord. From Snaptun, on the southern side of Horsens Fjord, there are ferry departures to both Endelave and Hjarnø.
